Lake Mackintosh is located at 2704 Huffman Mill Road. One of the newest facilities in the Burlington Recreation and Parks Department, it covers over 1100 acres, is six miles long and has a shoreline of over 100 miles.

 Activities offered at Lake Mackintosh include: fishing, boating, rental boats and paddle boats. A lakeside clubhouse is available for rentals on a daily basis. Throughout the park you will find picnic sites, an open air shelter for rentals and a new playground unit. Because the lake is the primary water reserve for the City of Burlington, there is no swimming, wading, skiing or personal water craft permitted on the Lake.To view a sample of the fishing at Lake Mackintosh please visit the the Fishing Pictures Section.
