Lake Cammack is located at 4790 Union Ridge Road and offers a wide variety of recreational activities.  Launching ramps are available for private boats wishing to fish, ski, or cruise the lake. There is no swimming permitted at the lake other than water skiing.The fishing at Lake Cammack can be excellent. The bank fishing at Lake Cammack is also very good as they have fish feeders located at two different location of the lake. There is also a fishing pier located at Lake Cammack. A well maintained grass area for bank fishing along with a large park area and playground are all offered at the lake.  Camp Greenleaves, the Recreation & Parks Department camp for the developmentally disabled is located at the Civitan Shelter at the lake.  Lake Cammack covers over 800 acres and is 5 miles long with a shoreline of over 50 miles.

The fishing this week ( 9th-15th may ) has been good. Ed Mcdaires is still in the lead for the year on big fish
With a 9.85 (bass) caught in march, which also won him a slot in the year long bass tournament sponsored by Lake Cammack, fish off to be in march 2005. The crappie fishing at Lake Cammack has also been good this week.
